Our services include the back filling of monitoring wells which have served there purpose and are no longer required. some of these wells may pose a risk of contamination due to its pathway into a major aquifer for example. using bentonite/cement grout we are able to inject the grout from the base of the borehole to the surface using a tremie pipe and the capping the borehole installation with concrete or tarmac at the surface.
Over drilling of the existing borehole is another technique used. This involves removal of the bore hole pipework then drilling out the original bore and back filling it with grout.
All these methods of grouting are carried out by Cape Site Services own mixing and pumping plant which have been custom built in our in house workshop.
